Impact of Inclusion Questionnaire (Inclusion attitudes)

Although the work that led to the development of the Impact of Inclusion Questionnaire (IIQ) is now more than 10 years old, the questionnaire may still be useful to researchers and others interested in educators' attitudes towards the inclusion of children with special educational needs/disabilities.

We first used the measure in the following publication, and some basic psychometric properties are contained within:

Hastings, R. P., & Oakford, S. (2003). Student teachers’ attitudes towards the inclusion of children with special needs. Educational Psychology, 23, 87-94.

There are four potential sub-scales that can be scored, along with a total inclusion attitudes score. The sub-scales and scoring information is included in the file about the IIQ that can be downloaded for free.

Download a copy of information about the IIQ.
